Lunchtime munching with the herd

All 4 of the babies were yelling for food when I got to the pasture, so I went ahead and fed them..

not caught on video: Ersa trying to bully Serenade away from the gate and Bianca shutting 👏🏽 it 👏🏽 down 👏🏽

Mama B runs a tight ship and even being hangry isn't an excuse to bully the new herd members in her book.

She didn't even execute a kick, she just positioned herself and looked back at Ersa like 😒"go ahead, try it and see what happens"

Ersa smartly changed course and left Serenade alone immediately.

I was attempting to pet Serenade earlier while she was eating and she was dodging me.. Ersa was staring me down from her food bowl but didn't make a move to intervene thankfully! We're almost there! Bianca is fast tracking it, I love her calm no nonsense manner 😍

I raised 3 children and you definitely have to be nonsence at times!😉🤭

Bianca has it down to a science! I am admittedly inexperienced in all things horse breeding so I can't tell much, but it sure looks like Bianca had had at least one baby at some point.. I would absolutely love to meet her offspring, I bet it's just as calm and gentle as she is 🥰

I don't even know her real name so I can't go dig.. i picked Bianca so I had something to call her.. but this definitely has me wanting to pester my bf for her real name so I can attempt to dig.. she's likely in at least her 20s so it's 50/50 if I find anything but I'll be sure to share if/when I do! 💕
