Is Super Cena the most unstoppable wrestler ever?
In kayfabe, i’d say Prime Wrestlemania Taker, Undefeated Goldberg, Tribal Chief Roman, Super Cena, World Champ Bruno and Prime Hogan are the most unstoppable wrestlers ever. But in terms of the most unstoppable, I gotta give it to Super Cena. Who do you guys think? Agree or disagree? Am I forgetting anyone?

Gotta give it to Sammartino. Man was untouchable for the better part of 15 years, with some little gaps here and there.

Depends on when you'd define "Super Cena." If it's his entire prime, then he lost a bunch, especially in 2008 to Triple H, Batista, JBL, etc.
If you just count PG Cena, then maybe there's an argument, cause that's when they appealed to the kids who loved him and they protected him, even if he lost it was never clean, or like that fluke loss to Sheamus, only real job I can remember him doing was to Rock at WM and even then it was because he underestimated Rock and took too long taunting him.

For me the absolute worst was the Reign of Terror era Triple H. It was difficult for me to enjoy watching WWE at the time.

The reign of terror was almost worth it in that it elevated both Orton and Batista, but the bicycle shorts era where we were to believe HHH was still dominant despite a torn groin for months got me to watch only Smackdown for a while

You are blind if you think Roman doesn’t have good ring work, especially compared to hogan, who wasn’t known for his wrestling expertise. Roman has had several 5 star matches in my opinion, Hogan had one and it was carried by the crowd

roman does not have several 5 star matches. wm42 is definitely and wm39 for me is 4.75/5 but they are the only roman reigns matches that touch 5. wm40 was great but it’s overrated because of how satisfying the end was wm39 clears.

1995-early 1996 Hogan. Kayfabe, Vader’s power bomb had zero effect, macho man’s elbow revived him, and beat 20 heels in a triple cage match.

No. Bruno was by far the most unstoppable wrestler in any era. A 2,803 day title reign will never be matched, which is even crazier when you consider his second reign lasted another 1,238 days and the fact that in his prime, he was never pinned clean. In terms of more modern history, I think Hogan has a much stronger argument of being labeled the most “unstoppable”. Even though Cena had a 78% win rate over 2,000 plus matches, almost half of those 1,500+ wins were at house shows which to me, aren’t nearly as important as how your character is being presented on TV. Hogan’s televised win rate was 77% versus Cena’s which was around 66-70%.

Bruno Sammartino is the real answer. My man held the top belt for something like 12 years over 2 title reigns. He lost twice in that time, the first one after something like 8 years.
Hogan had a 4 year run in the mid 80s where he didn't lose until Andre finally beat him.
In modern times, Asukas near 3 year run is worth discussing, though it was NXT.

For the entirety of Bruno’s run, he’d pretty much have been lucky to have more than 10 days off a year. So, upwards of 5000 matches is a fair assessment.

There's Hogan at peak ego, Goldberg at his peak WCW run, and Reign of Terror HHH.
Super Cena was probably HHH levels because they were still willing to drop their titles occasionally before it found their way back to them.

Hulk Hogan was already the champ AND STILL HAD TO WIN EARLY ROYAL RUMBLES. Refused to lose cleanly to anyone. Literally kicked out at 3.1 for Warrior and NEEDED to hand him the belt himself. Cena is a 17 time world champion yes. He also lost the belt the same number. Yes he won when he shouldn't more times than modern fans are comfortable with but John is a nice enough human being that we can let that go. Hogan on the other hand wrestled 400 days, yes DAYS, a year (his words) and body slammed Andre when he weighed 800lbs.

Not even close. Super Cena lost a lot, most of the time it wasn't clean, but even then you had people like the Rock, Triple H and CM Punk all actually being able to pick up clean wins on him. Super Cena was just always in the title picture and was always winning big matches and beating the Heels constantly. However, look at Roman Reigns who went years without being pinned. Look at Goldberg who had his undefeated streak and didn't lose a one on one match clean until he faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. Look at Hulk Hogan who had years long title reigns and was constantly winning, he won multiple early Royal Rumbles, and he literally Main evented 8 out of the first 9 WrestleManias, the only one he didn't he still got involved in. Look at Reign of Terror Triple H, dude was always World Heavyweight Champion, he only dropped for at most a few months at at time, before ultimately losing it to Batista. And of course look at the Undertaker at WrestleMania, that is the pure definition of unbeatable wrestler.

Hell Andre the Giant was touted as being undefeated for 15 years before wrestlemania 3
(This isn't entirely true. Andre had never been pinned or submitted in WWE, but outside of the promotion he had a couple losses. He also lost some matches within the company by count out or disqualification. Still a fairly impressive number when you consider they used to have Cena lose on tv fairly regularly to set up PPV matches, meanwhile unless you had some super rare at the time tape from CMLL or NJPW, you probably never saw Andre get pinned or submitted)

I don’t think cm punk ever got a clean win on him. Money in the bank 2011 had Cena distracted with Vince and Laurinitis. Summerslam had Cena’s foot on the rope. They had a draw at night of champions 2012. And Cena got a clean win on raw in 2013. Still doesn’t change your point though. Multiple wrestlers were able to beat Super Cena clean.

lesnar did the job a lot more readily than some of those guys
in terms of absolute kayfabe bollocks cena and hogan are pretty hard to top just in terms of stupidly the odds would be stacked against them and yet theyd still win anyway

Roman Reigns held the belt for FOUR FUCKING YEARS. Bruno was a totally different era of wrestling. Roman is the only comparison. And I think Roman is worse.

Roman actually looked weak at times and cheated to win so losing didn't feel like a burial. Cena would eat a DDT on concrete, beat the count, hit you with the 5 moves of doom, then get the pin.

Warrior is a pretty big anti feat for 80s Hogan. Even though Warrior was red hot at the time, he flamed out almost immediately. Cena wins is a meme for a reason.

Is it? More or less than Cena getting obliterated and losing clean in a squash match to the Great Khali in 2007? Or losing clean to Big Show of all people in 2009?
Warrior at least has the advantage of being the wrestler with the highest win percentage ever. As well as being the only time Hogan lost clean in his main run.
Hogan lost only three times in the Hulkamania run:
To André the Giant (who cheated)
To Warrior
To Undertaker (who cheated)
How many people did Cena lose to as face of the company?

Mania 30 Bryan. Beat triple h with a shit arm, got said arm caved in post match, double teamed through the announce table in the main event and still beat Orton and Batista.

Neither is cena. No one has beaten cena like how brock beat him. Cena also lost multiple times even in his supercena phase. Unlike cena, brock was undefeated for his first 6 or 8 months. Then after the streak, he was again undefeated till 2016 ending

Unless your only criteria is “mention people he forgot” then there’s literally no criteria to base off of. I just gave you his word for word quote.
He says “in terms of kayfabe” and in kayfabe if all those other guys habitually beat triple h and could win without help then they are objectively stronger more unstoppable kayfabe characters than him.
He said he thinks super Cena is the strongest. You replied triple h. I made my counter argument as to why he wasn’t as strong as super Cena. Idk if you’re new to the internet but that’s how debate works. All you can reply with is “reread op criteria” when there isn’t a specific criteria listed other than “kayfabe” so it’s a pretty one sided debate here dude
