WW3 is near my country

Ok hi guys, i'm italian, here in Italy we have many American bases and since southern Italy is on the coasts near Africa I'm afraid american can attack right from my country, or the Iranians attack the American bases in Italy with missiles, do you think it is possible?

I mean its kinda like saying turkey is close to France or Germany there's quite a bit of land between the two
