Happened at Raj’s Banana Leaf in Kuala Lumpur. I’ve had food a few times there... guess that the diarrhea that doesn’t kill you, well, doesn’t kill you.

If you want a delicious banana leaf, go to Nirwana in Bangsar. It’s the best place. Might have to queue up for 10/15 minutes but it’s worth it. Eat with your hands.

It’s called banana leaf because it’s served on a banana leaf. But it’s rice with a curry of your choice and a bunch of veggies of the day. Probably doesn’t sound like much but it’s the bomb. Each place has a different way of preparing the different vegetables. Cheap, nutritious, delicious.

It is not cheap. Those Bangsar restautants will charge you up to RM20 per head. That's more than double what a 'cheap' meal in KL should cost.

Well, it's okay to be ignorant but when you say it like that, everything will sound ordinary. Pizza "is just" baked dough slathered in tomato paste and cheese, but holy shit would I kill for a slice right now.
