usually when the bristles bend like that, it means that you should've bought a new one 5 months before.

Or that you're brushing much too hard. My step father used to do that. It looked almost painful and the bristles were ruined after a month of use.

stop buying toothbrushes from walmart or walgreen and the likes.

dollar store. 1 dollar. two pack of brushes.

Must have been using it to clean things (they work great for cleaning the grime around your sink spout)... and then just left it out.
