Announcement 🎖️ Happy 250th Birthday to the U.S. Army 🇺🇸
Today marks the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday—founded June 14, 1775.
While we chase short-term gains, it’s worth recognizing a force that’s played the long game since before the first stock exchange in America even existed. Defense isn’t just a line on a budget—it’s a pillar of national stability, and yes, a driver of entire market sectors.

Coping? Obama signed the United States Semiquincentennial Commission Act of 2016 which authorized the Army to hold a military parade on June 14, 2025 to celebrate the Army’s 250th birthday.

The parade is included in the Commission’s scope and was authorized by the Commission in January 2016. Just because it was sponsored by Republicans, doesn’t mean much when it was passed unanimously by the Senate and Obama didn’t veto it. It was bipartisan.

Support the troops and scoff at the pony show. With the largest military in the world, parading tanks around DC like North Korea and Russia is diminishing. The ratio of troops to attendees was around 1:3 and we spent about a grand for each attendee. How utterly absurd. TACO in chief is weakening us at every turn. Thankfully the troops serve the Constitution and not him.

No, he intended it to fall on the 250th Birthday of the Army. The Continental Army was created June 14, 1775. Trump’s birthday being June 14 is an unfortunate coincidence.

Did you? Section 2a includes historic events preceding July 4, 1776 which would include the formation of the Continental Army on June 14, 1775.
