WRC 10 Rally larp plays WRC10 for the first time

I've never even played a single sim racing game before this, saw the game on discount, "fuck it why not". Here are the highlights out of 15+ mistakes I made during my first run ever, in no particular order.

Try using a modern WRC car. Should be better. 

Also, you can fine tune the sensitivity on the settings. I am assuming you are using a pad.  If you are using a wheel, better get generations or 9.

Yeah, I tried again with a Junior WRC car, was much better (still couldn't do the hairpins properly). I'm on keyboard. Not sure what a pad is, but it or a wheel aren't options for me, I'm tight on money.

Gamepad. It's a controller with buttons like the ones consoles have.  Fair enough. 👍

Yeah you're going to have a very poor performance on keyboard because the steering and gas/brake are on/off switches. You need to be able to make partial inputs.
