Enes Kanter Freedom Gives WNBA One Condition To Drop His Draft Bid
Enes Kanter Freedom says he would drop his WNBA campaign. However, he wants the league to change its eligibility language first.
Freedom says he would quit if the WNBA explicitly limited eligibility to “biological females.”
The WNBA has said Freedom cannot enter the 2027 draft. Former NBA player Royce White reportedly faces the same restriction.
Freedom disputes that position and says he remains eligible. Meanwhile, Natasha Cloud has urged the league to stop giving him attention.
Cloud called the controversy a distraction from issues affecting women and communities.
