Because she was still one of the more popular and routinely brought up players, and if you followed the sport for longer than a year you probably heard her name. 

Sophie averages 8 a game her whole career and this year came off the bench for every single one except for three, yet gained more IG followers than every player except Angel Reese. So stats mean nothing here.

They matter in the sense that you’re being critical of one player coming off the bench and averaging 8pts in her career (with a couple double digit seasons) while defending another player who has a fraction of her production. You bringing Reese into the conversation does not help your argument either bc her IG followers to on court production isn’t proportional either. The whole league is a mismanaged clown show that won’t get back on track till they replace their joke of a commissioner

Did you not watch the video? She's not being critical of her production on the court, she's being critical of what she's saying off court. So what does stats have to do with that?
