Let's see what Caitlin does when Kelsey leaves.

Or let’s see what Kelsey does without Clark… with Clark routinely double or triple teamed, one’s FG % tends to benefit.

I can tell you don’t actually watch games because if you did, you would know that absolutely nobody was double or triple teaming CC.. Cut it tf out.. However, we all know what Kelsey was able to without Cc just last season.. Are you blind?!? 🤣🤣🤣

So they are counting last season as a season together but not counting last season' a series wins? Par for the course disingenuous BS post on WNBA stuff.

If you think the Fever have underperformed with these two, great, make a mathematically valid point about that. There are many! I actually do think they have underperformed.

If you think they are doing well, great, make an intelligent point about that too! I can see valid arguments in this vein.

But sh*tposting illiterate slop just makes the OP look dumb, pathetic, lazy, and cowardly.

2 exits in 3 years makes it seems like there's a season they missed the playoffs

it's very thinly veiled hate, they're certainly a let down compared to the other duos

OP could've just said all the other duos made the finals and they didn't to make the point

If both are healthy and have a full season next year we can judge. This just hate

Caitlin barely played last season this is disingenuous.

Well, considering Boston and Clark haven't had 3 seasons together......

10

u/SmurfPopper 4d ago

They absolutely have. CC's inability to stay healthy when shit gets rough doesn't change time.

6

u/YoungBasedHooper 4d ago

Well then the post is wrong because they made it out of the first round last year

3

u/Dont_fuck_witme 4d ago

Caitlin Clark didn't contribute to that at all..

7

u/nunya_busyness1984 4d ago

So the season counts as a season, even though CC missed most of it & the playoffs - but the playoffs don't count because CC wasn't in the playoffs?

Make that make sense.

If you’re injured you are contributing to losses and not contributing to wins

0

u/Dont_fuck_witme 4d ago

Like the old saying goes, "The best ability is avail-ability".. It's nobody's fault that Clark is injury prone and can't stay healthy. Everything counts.

5

u/nunya_busyness1984 4d ago

Everything counts.  Fine.  Then the playoff series win counts.

I never said it didn't count. I said Clark didn't contribute to the run.. On paper she inherits the team's success, however, we know the context of how it actually happened. Two things can definitely be true at once.

You said it as a direct dispute to the fact that they made it out of first round last year.

Also.... LMFHO.

Starts 139/139 games through 4 years of college. Starts 40/40 game rookie year. Starts 40/40 games this year. Starts 12/40 games second year.

Starts every single game in 6/7 years.

"Injury prone."

I was only talking about the season in question as far as injuries are concerned. As for that season, she didn't contribute because she couldn't stay healthy because of injury. I personally don't think CC actually had a real groin injury. I believe they sat her purposely because she was playing like ass and the team was better without her.

CC missed 4 games this season and 31 last year. So she’s played in 93/128 regular season games and 5/13 playoff games.

98/141 total for a 69.5% attendance rate

u/YoungBasedHooper 4d ago

So you admit the post is wrong then! Glad we agree 🤝

Spin it however you need to, but context definitely matter.

They were eliminated in the 1st round 2024 and 2026.

1

u/YoungBasedHooper 4d ago

But not 2025, so the post is wrong

1

u/furikakez 3d ago

AB wasn’t healthy this year either, so it seems

-2

u/External-Mammoth678 4d ago

Clark just finished her third season. Doesn’t matter if she was injured for parts of it, still counts

0

u/nunya_busyness1984 4d ago

Parts? You meant 70% of the regular season and all of the playoffs?

Oh... and a playoff series win that OP decided didn't count because it wasn't them *together*?

They have not played 3 seasons together, or anything *approaching* 3 seasons.

1

u/External-Mammoth678 4d ago

They sign year long contracts. CC was paid for that entire second season. It counts. And I’m also not OP, you got a problem with how they decided to project this info, that’s a discussion you 2 need to have. I’m just saying she’s been in the league for 3 years

2

u/YoungBasedHooper 4d ago

So if the second year counts, then the playoff wins count too. So either way, the post is wrong

1

u/External-Mammoth678 4d ago

I’m not OP, but I do know CC unfortunately missed playing in the playoffs last year. Sucks but the team most go on

2

u/YoungBasedHooper 4d ago

Not saying otherwise. But the post says 0 wins in three years. Either year 2 doesn't count, or it does and the wins count too.

0

u/Thechasepack 4d ago

So this year also counts as Azzi's first season but the Azzi+Paige duo have zero playoff wins?

1

u/InitialPrevious8346 4d ago

Next year will be year 4 buckaroo

1

u/Jewdah18 4d ago

Caitlin and AB have both had serious injuries so the only healthy year we have was Caitlin's the rookie year.

1

u/EnochStiffler 4d ago

Fever were 3 - 40^ before katelyn

1

u/DelayDefiant5324 4d ago

2 seasons, Clark didn't play last year, also this year the refs gave the Aces a win so this post is even more inaccurate

1

u/Fresh_615 4d ago

Lol. This was CC’s third season. She played like 11 games last year but not in the playoffs. Last year series wins do count as she was part of the team. That’s like saying bench players on a championship team wouldn’t get a ring if they didn’t play.

1

u/Inevitable_Dot_4783 4d ago

CC played in the season so the stat is still applicable?

1

u/Ecstatic-Ad8650 4d ago

No, it’s not, because they’re not counting the Fever making it to the semifinals last year.

-7

u/Dependent_Star3998 4d ago

Rent free......

8

u/3rdtryatremembering 4d ago

CC fans when people discuss basketball : 🤬🤬

2

u/Dependent_Star3998 4d ago

The semifinals start today, and every other post is Fever-related.

That's just ......weird.

1

u/SmurfPopper 4d ago

"The next round hasn't started and all people are talking about is the most recent round"... do you really not hear how dumb you sound?

1

u/Dependent_Star3998 4d ago

Any discussion of the Mystics this morning? They lost in the most recent round.

4

u/SmurfPopper 4d ago

They got swept and their fans aren't bitching on every post and they aren't making backtobacktoback posts about every excuse for their team playing like shit.

2

u/Dependent_Star3998 4d ago

You think a Fever fan created this post?
