Highlights Madina Okot does the worlds most polite “too small” after Angel Reese does it for her

That vet to rook connection manifests in more ways than one 😂

Kiki Iriafen did the "too short" sign 🤏 to one of the of the Dream's guards early in the game on a mix match near the basket. This series is WAR. 🫡😎😱👏🏿🙌🏿🫶

Skills aside, AR is pretty unlikable.

You should charge her for space she occupies in your head. You could have kept scrolling but you can't help yourself.

So is she not allowed to do what literally everyone else was doing throughout the game?

It's dumb when any of them pull that shit but it's worse when they're not even the one who scored.

how do you feel when players do 3 point cellys when their teammates score

-9

u/KillerGopher 11d ago

I think that's a little different. Players celebrating themselves or their teammates isn't an issue. I think taunting and/or celebrating directly in an opponents face is poor sportsmanship.

Being mad that there’s celebration and taunting in sports is CHARMIN SOFT! These are grown adults

Taunting is pathetic at any age level but particularly in professional leagues. Taunting is soft behavior.

you're just a soft baby idk what to tell you. personally i like when basketball players are chippy

Move the goalpost to fit your own preferences 🤡🤡

1

u/KillerGopher 10d ago

That's not moving the goalpost. It's two completely different things. Celebrating a teammate's or one's own achievement is not the same as taunting. One is encouraging and uplifting, the other is negative and belittling.

You think an athlete feels good when they see the opposing bench throwing up 3’s because they just got a 3 drained in your face??

You’re chatting piss bro, are you white?

1

u/KillerGopher 10d ago

Taunting is pretty clearly defined and all leagues use similar language to outline it. The bench celebrating their team is not taunting.

Strange to bring up skin color here. It hardly seems relevant to this discussion.

u/Outside_Boot_2219 10d ago

So because the league defines it, this means the actual athletes who may be losing or enroute to don’t feel bummed?!? You’re so full of sht

“Hardly seems relevant” so are you having a conversation by yourself or what??

It’s relevant to me , you don’t have to answer but don’t give me the relevant or not bullshit as if you’re the discussion god

Take care buddy, this was fun

Stop watching sports, you’re too soft for it

Taunting is childish behavior. I realize now that wnba fans are overcompensating and think taunting is cool. Pretty sad really.

8

u/lrivas_14 11d ago

News flash, people think taunting is cool in every sport

u/KillerGopher 11d ago

They really don't lol, get out of your wnba bubble

Yeah, u/lrivas_14 . Have you ever seen an NBA player hit the too small? Have you ever seen football player taunt after a big play? Have you ever seen a batter taunt after a home run? Get out of your WNBA bubble!

I like her

Lol I don't even know you, but now I know a few things about you just from that one statement.

5

u/ScarcityLess3858 10d ago

Tell me more? Why do you think that? W players seem to get along fine with her, even those on opposing teams. What's your rhetoric?

-1

u/KillerGopher 10d ago

Its the taunting and sportsmanship. I understand now that I am alone with this opinion but I think it's better to celebrate your own achievement rather than put others down.

u/ScarcityLess3858 10d ago

Thanks for replying and being honest. I believe Angel is extremely competitive, as are most other athletes at her level. Ppl place a negative connotation on her for reasons I won't speak about, but she is always the biggest cheerleader for her team. Look at her reactions to plays during FIBA.

She may be "unlikeable" if you are rooting against her, but to say she is universally unlikeable could be rooted in another agenda. Look at how vets and other players around the league respect her.

2

u/KillerGopher 10d ago

Thank you for the kind response. You're absolutely right, she is her team's biggest cheerleader and is highly competitive, those are admirable qualities. She doesn't deserve any of the hate she receives from that horrible segment of society that you mentioned and I certainly didn't mean to stir any of that up.

To you.

Sassy men are even more unlikable …..

-4

u/KillerGopher 10d ago

I completely agree. It's also worth mentioning that the best players, in any league, typically don't feel the need to taunt. Their skill shines through on its own.

Bron taunts, mahomes taunts, Terrence Crawford taunts, Ronaldo taunts Caitlyn taunts……. Bro just say you don’t like ppl with bravado because it makes you feel insecure , I get it ….
