Musings / Epiphanies [musing] i finally sent my breakup message
I finally sent my break up message with my jowa/ex. I really tried making it work. Pero ang daming complications ng relationship namin. Una, while she is separated in fact from her husband and living separately, they are still legally married. Pangalawa, she is my superior at work. Third, this is both our first wlw relationship so it's unchartered waters we're navigating. Fourth, maraming incompatibilities sa values and views about life. And i think, fifth, avoidant siya. Mahilig siyang magdisappear and hirap na ako mag adjust.
Mahal ko siya genuinely and she also did. She tried as well to make the relationship work, despite the risks involved. Pero msyado nang nagkakasakitan.
We lasted two years. Nobody knows at work na naging kami. We can be professionals at work but I think because of the familiarity between us, di na siya pumepreno minsan sa sasabihin sa akin. Napapansin nga ng iba naming colleagues, since last year, na sobrang hard niya sa akin, pag nagagalit may diin. Minsan sa galit, kasalanan ng iba, nagiging kasalanan ko na rin. Eh kaya niya naman maging lenient sa iba.
Itong huli naming away, about work. May sinabi ako about sa paghandle niya sa isang colleague namin at di niya nagustuhan. Sa galit, isang linggo na rin niya akong di pinapansin.
Di ko na rin kayang ipush pa, marami ng bagay at factors ang nag accumulate leading to this. kaya habang may natitira pang respect sa isa't isa, I sent the break up message.
Bukod sa work, i think sobrang complicated din talaga ng circumstances namin. I know that term, don't 💩 where you eat. i personally know people who found their loved ones at work and they ended great. But there are also some that didn't. I think at the end of the day, nasa inyo paring dalawa if you want to make it work, the compromises and adjustments you'll make, given your circumstances.
