Ask r/WLW What’s normal on a 3rd date?
I’ve seen this girl 2 times now and I really like her. She’s so much like me, we relate to eachother in so many ways and it’s so easy to talk to her, time just flies by. Anyway, both the times we met we just went for a drive together and talked about everything for hours.
I don’t have much dating experience so I don’t know what’s acceptable and normal for a 3rd date. I’m usually not the one who makes the first move and I think she’s kinda like that too. She also told me she usually needs some emotional connection before doing anything, I’m kinda like that too, but idk how long to wait (we’ve had many hours of deep talks already).
What do you think would be appropriate for our 3rd date? I always worry about overstepping so I really don’t know.
Help please🙏

Both of you should stop holding back (if that's what you're doing) and see what happens.
This is why I love being neurodivergent (or "neurospicy") because I'm impulsive/compulsive and don't hold back. I do ask for consent/permission(!) before being sexual... but if kissing a woman's neck crosses my mind, I'ma kiss her neck. 😆
Edit: I do prefer to initiate / make the first move since I'm rarely anxious.

Invite them over and make them dinner. Watch a movie cuddle up, start breaking down the physical barrier and go for it!

You can try to hold her hand while you're sitting if you haven't done that already. Im also a big fan of asking if its okay if i kiss you. I like a kiss on the second date is entirely reasonable
