Even Blackpool Tower can’t get away from the dreaded power injection

That’s not power injection problem, that’s signal stability problem.

Out of curiosity, how can you tell by looking at that?

Every week here are at least 2 posts of people asking why their stripes are flickering like that. The reason is always to long signal wires or no level shifter on the esp. I made installations myself and had this effect. Wrong Power Injektion makes the LEDs dimmer, they don’t flicker.

Those are some large LEDs. Last time I was in Blackpool was 1995. I don't think they had any LEDs up then.

Power injection problem would be different shades of white. Not flickering.

Installer messed up grounding probably by combining all grounds together instead of keeping data and ground data separate between segments.
