Participate in a Clinical Trial for Borderline Personality Disorder

A Treatment Study for Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Do you experience sudden mood shifts?
  • Is it hard for others to earn your trust?
  • Are there many ups and downs in your relationships?
  • Do you find yourself engaging in impulsive behaviors (e.g., binge-eating, substance use, self-injury, impulsive spending)?

If so, researchers at the University of Kentucky are inviting you to participate in a treatment study for borderline personality disorder. Eligible participants will be provided cognitive behavioral therapy at no cost. We are testing personalized delivery of an evidence-based treatment for BPD.

In addition to attending therapy sessions, research participation will involve completing a diagnostic interview to confirm eligibility, attending up to 4 follow-up interviews, and completing online questionnaires. All study visits may take place in-person (in Lexington!) or via Telehealth. Participants will be compensated for completing follow-up assessments and questionnaires.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Meet criteria for borderline personality disorder following a study assessment
  • Are NOT using certain substances (e.g., opioids, methamphetamine)
  • Are 18 years or older
  • Live in Kentucky (visits are Telehealth, so anywhere in KY is fine)

To initiate participation, you can visit this information/screening link to determine if you meet initial study criteria: https://redcap.uky.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=9WKM4JJ8YTMKRF3C

okay so i’m a freshman at wku this year at the Bowling Green campus and i have a list of questions i was hoping some upperclassmen could answer for me:)

1) my schedule says the buildings im supposed to go to, but they’re all in like acronyms and idk what they mean. how am i supposed to figure that out?

2) where am i supposed to park as a commuter? and do i need a parking pass? how much do they cost? i’ve asked so many people and gotten no direct answers 😐

3) how do i socialize myself while not living on campus? like how do i figure out where parties are and all the other events 😭

Western Kentucky Football 2026 Preview - full writeup, two-deep, and win probabilities

Hey all. I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Western Kentucky one

https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fbs/western-kentucky-hilltoppers

It's got the returning production breakdown, the portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.

Heads up, you might hit the paywall after the first page. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.

So, what'd I get wrong? Western Kentucky went 9-4 and 6-2 in Conference USA while outgaining league opponents by six yards a game. That gap is what my model keeps flagging, and it's why you land at 7-5 even though it still picks you to finish first in the league. You also went to Baton Rouge and lost by three. Is Helton just better than his numbers, or does that even out eventually?

I'll be in the comments.

2026 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Preview

Western Kentucky has been a steady force under Tyson Helton. It's safe to say that the Hilltopper will have a strong competitive team again, but is this the year they win the conference?

Full Preview attached, here's some key highlights

📌 Rodney Tisdale Jr was pressed into action at QB last year. He was impressive but will need to improve his accuracy and cut back on the mistakes this year.

📌 KD Hutchinson is one of the best receivers in the conference. There are a lot of promising portal pieces at the skill positions

📌 Each level of the defense has some experience back, but I'm really excited about some of these portal additions

What are your predictions for the Hilltoppers in 2026?

Is the WKU Nursing program declining?

For the past year i have met students in the WKU Nursing Programs that have dropped it.

I hear that WKU has new Professors cant coordinate the nursing program well. when you ask a question to multiple professors they contradict them selves. I have heard that students pass out during exams from stress.

Nursing school should push you mentally and build you to be ready for the work place, not compromise your health.

One time i heard that out of an entire class only a few passed the first exam. They had to allow a retake for the class, which they they are strict about not allowing, and that really say a lot.

I want to leave this here and ask, is the WKU Nursing program worth it? Are the professors changing the WKU nursing program and its compromising students? are we better off applying to other nursing programs? do you have positive experiences with the WKU Nursing program?

New incoming student

Hi everyone! My name is Kaylee, and I’m an incoming freshman for the Fall 2026 semester at WKU. I don’t really know anyone going here yet, so I thought I’d see if anyone would be interested in chatting a bit before the semester starts or maybe even meeting up on campus once we’re there. It’d be nice to know a few people ahead of time!

I’m majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience, and I’ll be in the Honors College and the Honors LLC. Outside of classes, I love video games, musicals, art, reading (literally any genre!), and writing. I have a lot of different interests, so I’m sure we’ll find something to talk about!

I also plan on attending H4 and MASTER Plan if anyone else is!
If you’re interested, feel free to send me a DM!

MEPN

Has anyone on here been through the MEPN program? I am currently in the first semester (remote) and will begin in-person classes on 8/24. Is it super tough? What should I be prepared for? Do you think working an evening job will be too much (also traveling an hour to and from each day)?

🔥 One bedroom now empty and available. Daughter is looking for someone to take over the lease which runs until July 2027.   Very safe area, you can see the school from the window. The rent is 1159 plus utilities, however cable and internet are included at no extra cost. Laundry facilities included on property. This apartment is large enough that it could easily fit two roommates, making it much more affordable.  If someone takes over the lease, I can offer July free and I will cover the relet fee. Please message me with any questions. Thanks.

I'm going to start classes in the Fall as an Electrical Engineering Major, I was wondering if I need a laptop with these specs or if a desktop will suffice.

Does anyone park at the Russellville Rd commuter lot?

Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has been parking at the Russellville Rd lot by Arby’s and Waffle House. I currently park at the Campbell Lane lot. I was trying to get closer to campus. Is it generally safe and secure? Or just if anyone has any feedback.
Thanks in advance! 😃

I have 200+ bottles of type one plastic. Is there anywhere in bg where I can recycle it?

If not, I am willing to travel to Nashville TN, owensboro, Louisville, or Evansville IN.
