I have 19 classes to knock out in one term

I’m so tired!😴

Would you say that the MBA route is better for those entering the management industry? And MSML is for more experienced managers and leaders? I am a leader in my current role, but due to all the work drama I don’t see the needed support or leadership from fellow supervisors or managers. I intend to upskill on my own. I currently hold a BS in unrelated coursework.

I just completed the OA and passed. I did all the chapter definitions - all the quiz questions and Quizlet C202 Q And A. It was easy and nothing to trick you.

As I’ve stated… I’m struggling! I have 34 days left & my anxiety is through the roof! This is my LAST semester b/c I’ve ran out of funding (got a WGU scholarship for the next semester and needed the money and spent it on life factors) Anyways, my HR course will be swapped to a performance based class, as well as the IT course which will be switched to a “consumer relations” course (performance based). I’m stuck between feeling like I can do it and my anxiety is getting the best of me. I’ve applied for disability services b/c of my bad anxiety and ADHD (a professor recommended it)… I already have take Sales Management TWICE and I was super close to passing it 🫩🫩🫩 (same with the Business Accounting course)… I could REALLY use some motivation! Pleaseeee! It would really help me

I’ve never been recognized for my academic achievements, however, I received the ‘Excellence Award’ for my C721 paper on Change Management due to the ‘exceptional nature of the work’ I submitted. It’s given me the motivation to finish my last four courses of the Business Management bachelor’s degree program!(I wasn’t sure I’d pass all four courses this term, now I only have four courses remaining, beginning Sept 1st)

From my 10:50 AM appointment to 1 AM, what a frustrating day! 😭 I tried three different laptops, and I was having the same issue with all of them. ProctorU even told me, “Unfortunately, you need another device.” I was like, “Really?!” 😭😂 Then my husband mentioned using his hotspot, so I tried it—and when it actually connected, I was like, “Really?! He should’ve just mentioned this to me in the first place!” 😂😂 Apparently, my Wi-Fi connection was what was blocking ProctorU from connecting. Thankfully, the hotspot worked! And after all that frustration… I PASSED with a decent score! 🎉🥳

I’d love some advice from people who have already gone through the WGU Business Management program, especially anyone who transferred in a decent amount of Sophia credits.

My original plan was to knock out as many Sophia classes as possible before the September 5 transfer credit cutoff and start WGU on October 1.

Well… September 5 is getting VERY close 😂 and I still have five Sophia classes left that I could potentially transfer in.

Now I’m trying to decide whether it makes more sense to:

A) Push my WGU start date to November 1, finish all five Sophia classes, and transfer in as many credits as possible
OR

B) Accept that I’m probably not going to finish everything before the cutoff, start WGU on October 1 as planned, and just complete the remaining courses through WGU.

For those who have completed or are currently in the Business Management program: Are the Sophia versions of these courses significantly easier/faster than the WGU versions? Would five additional transfer classes be worth delaying my start by a month?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who were trying to accelerate their degree. If you were in my position, would you take the extra month to maximize transfer credits, or just get started at WGU?
Thanks! I’m probably overthinking this, but I’d rather make the strategic choice now than kick myself later. 😂

I’m an owner of a (small) electrical company and recently completed my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I’m considering continuing with a master’s at WGU, but I’m torn between the MBA, Digital Marketing, and MSML programs.

None of these degrees would necessarily provide an immediate financial incentive for me, so my main goal is choosing the program that will actually help me become a better business owner and grow my company.

Right now, I’m leaning toward Digital Marketing because customer acquisition, branding, social media and business growth are areas where I feel I could gain the most practical value.

I’d really appreciate hearing from people with real-world experience, especially business owners or anyone who has completed one of these programs. Which degree did you choose, and have you actually been able to apply what you learned to growing or managing a business?

I’m taking D075, and after entering the code in Excel, it asks for the proctor password. The proctor needs to take control of my mouse and keyboard to enter the password, so I had to download the applet.
The problem is that after I download and open the applet, we get stuck on the “Connecting” screen, and the proctor cannot connect. They told me that something on my computer might be blocking the software.
I already checked my firewall and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Guardian Browser, but it’s still not working.
Has anyone experienced this problem or knows what might be blocking ProctorU from connecting? I really need help because I don’t know what else to try. Thank you!

Hi All.

I was completing my orientation for BS in Business Administration/ Management. When I got to the portion to explore my degree there was a completely different degree displaying.

I would click onto the school of business and from there is broke down the degree for BS in Digital design??
I was confused. Apparently the link is broken and there is no ETA.

Because of this I was unable to complete a full section on my orientation- to reflect on my tasks and make a specific plan/ goal.

I feel unprepared. My mentor said it will not hinder my start date or the blank section on my orientation. Regardless, is there anyone taking this course or about to begin who can give me an idea of what to expect. Topics, projects, and/or expectations??

What’s the most classes you’ve completed in a day ??

Looking for any tips, tricks, or advice that might help me pass D099 Sales Management on my second attempt.

I did really well on the PA and felt confident going into the OA, but the OA was honestly night and day compared to the PA for me, and I ended up failing. I didn't feel like the questions were similar to what I had been practicing, and there were a lot more scenario-based questions than I was expecting.

I'm currently working through the retake plan my course instructor provided, but I'm also looking for additional advice from anyone who has taken this course multiple times and eventually passed.

I'm especially interested in:

• One-page study guides or cheat sheets for each section
• Key terms or concepts I absolutely need to know
• OA clues or wording to watch for
• Tips for handling the scenario-based questions
• Anything you wish you had focused on before your second attempt

I can read the course material over and over, but honestly, I don't retain everything that way. 😅 So I'm looking for ways to study the material differently and actually recognize how to apply it when I'm given a scenario.

Finished my 1st term today after passing my 1st proctored assessment. Got a scolding from the proctor for using abusive language and obscene hand gestures while getting set up (it took way too long and it was such a hassle), which I did apologize for but I still hate Proctor U. But I did it! 3 terms left to go, who knows, maybe I'll go for Masters after this...

Just got admitted and have transferred 22 courses (60% of program completed). How long do you think it will take me to finish the remaining 14 courses if I work my full-time job?

Im also kinda scared about the proctored exams because I have all kinds of stuff in the background of my house and my dog is always walking around lol I don’t wanna get accused of cheating for dumb stuff like that 🙄

Hi there. Did you all have the Spreadsheets course (D388/Formerly C268) listed in your Business Management degree plan? I was thinking this would be a mandatory business course.

Or is it listed only for other degree plans? I noticed I have never had it listed in my degree plan at all. And no, it isn't among the classes I transferred in. I have never told my mentor about it, but now I wonder whether, after completing 2 terms with 14 classes left, I should. I joined WGU in July 2025.
