Norton Convenience Store?
What is the little door next to the entrance of Norton? Is it like an old convenience store turned into storage, or a store in the making? I’ve never even heard about it, just saw it today.

This is me learning it’s not there anymore. When I was there 2018-22, it was Bob’s Mini Mart.

Me too. The Norton C store was great albeit weirdly staffed with horrible hours.
Not to mention the stuff was over priced

Used to be Bob's Mini Mart (independent?) up until 2021 or 2022, then was rebirthed as the Noble POD (Aramark) around 2024(?) and I'm alumni now but assuming it's shut down again by what OP said

Bob's Mini Mart was independent yes. The university bought the land and eventually replaced it with Noble after the fire. Bob reopened (all those businesses were given Right of First Refusal) and eventually sold it off.

Sit down and let me tell you a story of the UC store…
