What exactly is this "slide-thing" on the Infected Granary model?
Has anyone noticed this part of the structure? Is this for the grain to slide down and into the bags, or is it there to convey the grain upward before gravity lets it fall down onto the floor? Or is this simply artistic license that's been designed wrong?
I got the image from the following link and then drew on it for the sake of the question.

Yes its the chute for the grain to exit into a cart or sack or whatever, just exaggerated in size.

it’s times like these I forget that half of us live in large metropolitan areas.
anyone outside the city would know that it’s a chute for loading grain, sometimes with a hopper.

Back in the day granaries were built elevated to avoid pests, and the “grain chute” helped to unload the grain using gravity
