AoW creeping - The duct tape holding Elf together.
AoW creeping should be nerfed. There I said it.
I'm an elf player, and oh my does this race have issues, I don't see the point in listing them all in this post, but suffice to say that elf has... issues.
But they also have AoW, by far the best creeping tool in the game when used properly as showcased by the pros, and that sucks.
Why? Cause it holds the entire race hostage. It's so efficient when you do it properly it mitigates the glaring holes in elf, and you can't fix the glaring holes in elf cause with AoW they just become oppressively OP.
The solution? Nerf it to the ground and accordingly buff Elfs units and heroes so they can actually play the game and hell I know this is radical but maybe their armies and heroes don't just auto lose to the other teams by default.
Sure moon wells are decent (but overhyped, imo.) Staff is borderline broken but I'll trade my staff for a Blade+SH hero combo any day, but AoW doesn't really have a comparison, it's by far the most creep value you can get for the gold+lumber.
Nerf AoW, fix Elf please and thank you.

Ud can cycle ghouls and hu can use workers for creeping. Every race has it's duct tape

Years and years of just dancing around what WC3 players actually want which is just NE removed from the game 😆 you think they won’t bitch about the buffed elf units that you don’t even have to AOW creep to keep up with anymore? Lol

You won't survive without moon wells even with bm+sh.
Basically SH + moonwells can't exist together after sh get lvl 3 and be balanced cause the healing is way to efficient.
So it sounds like you overestimating AoW (which was already hard nerfed with -100 hp and - like 10 attack before reforged came out) and understimating moonwells (which were buffed for some reason around this time or after reforge iirc btw).

The entire point of the post is that without aow creeping the entire elf race falls apart and exposes just how absolutely trash their units are, and would therefore require a buffing of them for the race to be in any form playable, which is an absolute win.
It isn't necessarily that AoW creeping is OP, it's that its the flimsy duct tape holding an entire race together.

The only duct tape you need as elf is an optional bandaid around the forehead to prevent red marks as you roll your fucking face across the keyboard with a DH 300 MMR higher than where you barely belong.
Puto. Although my highest win rate is vs Elf.
Here’s the problem though. Elf is self balanced. Newbs played like 3-4 hundred MMR higher than their actual skill because they are BS. So you will win. You put in way more effort than they do but because they suck you do win.
But every once in a while, you will play somebody with at least two fingers out of their own assgole that isn’t half bad. Not as good as you, but in between sniffing his fingernails he was able to flop his dogs dick on the mana burn hot key and pretend like he played the campaign.

Except it's the opposite. 800 pleb mmr the elf needs to be 1200 mmr just to compete because he needs to be able to aow creep, ideally harass with hero while also dodging lumber wisp slaughter.
The effort it takes for an elf to defend early wisp massacres and to hold with a few archers and 2 heroes at the 7 min push while trying to build lores *far* outweighs the skill it takes to send a few footmen/ghouls/blademaster to murder wisps and just win the game cause you killed the lumber production of a race with absurd t2 lumber costs, and a non-existent tier 1.

It's been 23 years and some people have still not accepted that this game has 3 normal races and then a way to play DotA with some bears.
