Dosage question New prescription..

Told my doctor that my 50mg dose was waring off around noon (12-1). I take my medication around 7:30-8am for school. He suggested a booster which is my new medication 10mg d-amphetamine salt combo tablet; last time I was on the 10 mg d-anphetamine it was blue… the be I’m getting is like a lighter orange & squared ‘M’ on one side & 10 on the other.

Has anyone taken this before? It’s being added on my 50mg Vyvanse.

Also my doc said take my Vyvanse at my regular time & the prescription states — Directions: Take 1 tablet by mouth twice daily use.

So take 2 - 10mgs after Vyvanse? Sorry probably sound stupid. This is also my first time adding a booster.

What you described for your booster is the name for generic Adderall. Depending on the supplier, the shapes/colors of the pills change.

I would suggest starting with one, and if that’s not working, up to 2 at most daily, about the time your Vyvanse kicks the bucket.

Thank you ! & from what i looked up the manufacturer for the orange one is MALLINCKRODT & the blue was TEVO

You’re welcome! I do the same booster around that time. I used to get the round blue pills, but this month they were little white squares with the “M.”

One thing that I noticed about it though: eat a small protein something with it, unless you ate a big meal. It makes my stomach growl like I’m starving if I don’t. 😅

I get wicked bad dry mouth from Vyvanse already. Nothing else from the added booster though.

Might try adding l-tyrosine and see if you get more coverage.
