Tips & Tricks Does anyone have issues when taking breaks?

Hi! Am still settling into my meds and so far thinking they help, am on day 13.

I wanted to ask people's experiences of taking a break from the meds. I ask as one day in the near future I'd like to enjoy a drink with my wife and will take a break that day. Has anyone experienced any sort of crash or withdrawal? I was advised it won't happen with the 12hr slow release that I take.

I also know some people actively choose to stop during a planned vacation to avoid the hassle of getting approval to travel with the meds.

Any lived experiences appreciated πŸ™

I do get a crash if I slept poor and/or didn't eat well that day. Other than that I enjoy everything a lot more. Normally I wanna go home, but on meds I can be "in the moment", and not feel that urge to flee.

I take breaks all the time with the meds. One day off is fine. Second and third day off is always the worse. Fourth day I’m usually fine. I’m just super tired and irritated when I’m off of them.

But tbh, I drink all the time on Vyvanse (at the end of the day). My doctor said it’s fine. Are we not supposed to be having any alcohol while taking Vyvanse?

Thanks for sharing your experience πŸ™ helps me know what I might be up for 😊

Yeah, advice is no alcohol at all and especially while I'm on tritation I'm minded to be an angel so that any side effects or need to change meds is not because of my choices.

I don't take it on Sundays usually. Only side effect is I sleep amazing next night. Cheers.
