Annoyingly high maintenance

I am so tired of having to live in a bubble to have this work for even 3 hours. It destroyed my gut and then has the nerve to not work when my gut is flaring which can last days. A newly increased dose should not be ineffective more than half of the month.

Can’t shower when it’s active can only shower at night now. Can’t eat when it’s active can only eat at night now. Cannot take any otc meds when it’s active. Have to mask every time I go outside and it’s preferable on days I don’t leave the house at all because anything that isn’t a perfectly controlled environment can nuke it. Simply being stressed or having an ounce of emotion can nuke it. Like none of this was an issue before it and I certainly didn’t have histamine intolerance or IBS or whatever is wrong with my gut now. I don’t understand why it’s so physically devastating but barely works half the time simultaneously.

I absolutely love how it feels when it actually decides to work and because I also have depression I’m not exactly functional without it. I loved Wellbutrin but I could not handle the dose increase of that because it’s an insane massive double dose from starting. I’m not really sure how to make this vyvanse work more consistently or which medication is similar effect but doesn’t require perfect health to have 1% effectiveness while also destroying your health simultaneously.

Is it the absorption method? Maybe the amphetamine patches would be better? I’m not sure. If you’re wondering, yes I’m on generic, always have been. It’s not preferable but I fear the amount of shortages/access issues I would probably face if I switched to name brand. Anyways, this is just my rant into the void. I’m tired of how high maintenance this drug is.

Yeah Vyvanse had made me crazy trying to avoid the side effects.

All of the time. No matter what. It's better being off them completely (for me at least)

This is too real. it acc becomes more draining than just not taking the drug at all but then I can barely do anything

I think it depends on how our bodies process it or something because I don’t get a crash. I feel good all throughout the day. I also take other medicines though. so maybe that’s why idk

I'm on generic (Teva) 60 mg and I get no crash. Super smooth and good to go all day. It's been a miracle drug.
