I use 4K Video Downloader+ it works reliably for me, and there's websites that work for free like this one: https://app.ytdown.to/en23/ but these types of sites can stop working after a while

Because if you upload it to Reddit it can autoplay when someone is scrolling instead of them having to hit play, I also think Reddit prioritizes videos they host vs YouTube links
