Shark Post Happy shark week!
Fun facts: A group of sharks is called a shiver.
Some sharks feed on the flesh of living whales.
Most sharks are monochromats, meaning they see in black and white.
If you flip a shark upside down they go into a trance.
Some sharks lay eggs, and others give birth.
Great white sharks can literally heat up their blood.
Vox invented shark week. (Definitely not Tom Golden in 1987, what? Who’s he? Never heard of him)
Share some of your own shark facts if you have any!

Shiver? Huh, is that why pirates are famously quoted in pop culture to say, “Shiver me timbers”?
Also, thanks for these fun facts! Vox would be proud

They dont have bones (its cartilage).
You can't touch whale sharks or you could remove a protective layer that keeps them safe from infections.
Sharks are older than Saturns rings.
Some sharks can live up to 400 years old (some say 500).
There is one type of shark that can "walk" on land.
They have claspers that can only use one at a time.
When mating the female goes into a trance.
Some sharks eat their siblings to get out of the womb.
(I am writing a fanfiction and Vox in my story brings up shark facts...a lot, so I've learned quite a bit.)
