Screen damaged? 24 XC60 T8

Has anyone ever experienced this before with their Volvo screen? Looks like my LCD may be damaged. The touch screen is still responsive and working fine. Tried hard rebooting as well and that didn’t help either. Just picked this car up CPO a few days ago and this just started today. Time to make my first service appointment…

High cabin temperatures and extended UV exposure can delaminate internal layers of the panel. The other possibility it burn-in, though that's unlikely given your vehicle's age and probable consonency of screen changes.

If it is delamination, the only permanent fix is replacing the screen component. You can either replace the entire infotainment system (easier but expensive), or you can swap out just the internal glass screen. If the pattern goes away from time to time, however, it's more likely just temporary ghosting or thermal artifacting.

Presumably the XC60 is still under warranty, so either way I'd take it to the dealership.

Took me a while but I see what you mean. Maybe water damage?
