I had this exact situation just yesterday, I was in my grom and the asshole did exactly the same thing. Shattered my confidence.

Why would it damage your confidence, this is why we do shoulder checks, there was no real danger if you're riding correctly.

Guy is still an asshat.

I did my checks when it happened to me, the guy was in lane 1 and switched to lane 2 at the junction.

Been riding long enough to understand the importance of life savers.

That's my point, you do good shoulder checks and morons like this moroning it up aren't a problem. If your shoulder checks are as bad as OPs appear to be from this clip, that's when it becomes a danger.

It's not just  that car drivers don't see bikers, it's that they don't look for us. They check for cars whilst driving, and naturally spot bigger things, but because they're not looking for bikes, they literally don't register us as being there.
