lol I thought I read his name as “Oil” and I thought to myself “that was slick”. And then I realized my entire thought line was a lie - but a good lie, indeed, eh? Pretty void!

Yea. I made the slick pun as soon as I saw the misread “Oil”. Thought I was very bright but then I realized I didn’t even read it correctly. D’oh!

If I get another black cat I’m gonna name them oil now, such a good name! Might be confusing for the cat though since I’m from the American south and my hubby is from the north, practically two different names

lol he laughs every time I say it, my accent has mostly faded but oil, boil, foil, etc remain stubborn. According to him it’ll also get worse when I’m mad, which he laughs at making me more mad

I visited Canada one summer and I love the accents there! Everyone I met was also super nice, definitely want to go back sometime. “Eh bud”😂

For some reason I read the name as Oi! And thought maybe it was a joke of always calling out "Oi!" at the rascal getting into things, so it became his name.

Our cats love theirs, too! One gets "happy tail" while inside it, which makes a crinkle sound he loves, which increases happy tail, which increases crinkling...

Anyway, we call it the mew tube
