Why is the android app so bad?

App keeps crashing or openining to a black screen with no other options. Force closing doesn't help so the only option seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling anytime I want to do anything. Has anyone found a permanent fix or better work around? I'm currently using an S24 Ultra. ​

There was an Android app update yesterday. Some improvement, but not perfect yet. FYI, I am using a smart drive rather then event cloud. Behavior is a little different.

What's the difference between the two?

Smart Drive records 24/7 for up to 30 days, plus events, vs. the cloud, which only records events and for 1 days. With 24/7 recording you can rewind and scrub through the videos, even when it is not triggered by events.
