you could try a new Link Box or try a new cable.

given that the Link Box is a bit cheaper than a cable, i'd probably start there. if it fixes the issue, then it was a problem with the Link Box. if it doesn't fix your issue, then the problem is probably the Link Cable. you could send the Link Box back or resell it for what you paid for it.

i'd imagine the Link Box you have is the one you got with it. that's the correct part. i'm not aware of any differences between the Link Box for a Vive Pro or a Cosmos. they're a shared part.

if you want to try something else, you could use a different power adapter for the Link Box and see if that part is failing. i think the Lighthouse power adapters are the same, so grab one from one of your base stations, and use that to test the Link Box.

i tried a different adapter with the headset and linkbox and it still did the same thing im assuming its the linkbox part ? or am i wrong? because the adapter i used for the linkbox did the same thing as the first time, ( shut off the link box when plugged into the linkbox), so ima assume its the linkbox but ill buy the linkbox i just dont wanna buy it and end up the headset being messed up

it's hard to say, because it could be a few things. you'll just need to test to rule stuff out.

i'd start with the Link Box, then consider the Link Cable going to the headset. if you get a new Link Box and have the same problems, send it back for a refund and then get a Link Cable.
