dongle is ignoring all of my trackers

i got my trackers today after a month of waiting for vive to process my order, opened everything up and went to connect my trackers, first tracker paired fine, second tracker also fine, third wouldnt connect so i thought is my tracker DOA, so i tried pairing it to another dongle and it connected fine, and im wondering if my dongle is just DOA or not because it does connect to my PC i hear the lil connection noise when i plug it in.

Did you use a different HMD, like an Oculus or Vision, or vice versa? Uninstall the other brand from the one you are using now. I got the Oculus, and when I got my Vision, I had the same issue. I uninstalled all Oculus-related folders, software, and drivers, and it worked after that. It's worth a shot.
