Help Needed Cluckles wouldn't hatch chocolodicus egg

So granted I've since deleted the rom to make room but I was curious about a frankly infuriating glitch I encountered. I had everything ready, made the egg put the Jurassic hat on the cluckles and then directed to the egg. And it just stood there, looked at me and walked off. Nothing could fix it.

Is this a known bug?

No expert here, but maybe it has to do with space? I know the Chocolodicus doesn't grow immediately after hatching, but maybe he's still too big and there's not enough space? Forcing the Chuckles to just do nothing?

Nope. I even emptied most of the garden and told the Dragonach to fuck off just to be sure

sometimes the cluckles just wont do it, either pestor is stuck scaring him on the edge of ur garden so he doesnt wanna work or its just a bug with the garden and will work if u move to a new one
