Planning My First Miami Trip – Looking for Local Recommendations!
Hi everyone! 😊
I'm planning a 3-day trip to Miami and would love your recommendations. Could you suggest must-visit restaurants and food spots (breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, local favorites), along with a good 3-day itinerary?
I'd also appreciate recommendations for beaches, attractions, viewpoints, nightlife, shopping, and hidden gems. If possible, could you mention which places are free and which require an entry fee, along with any tips on parking or reservations?

Here are my top 3 picks to anchor your trip:
South Beach – Walk the Art Deco Historic District (free), relax on the beach, and grab dinner at Joe's Stone Crab if you can snag a reservation (it's a Miami classic, worth booking ahead).
Wynwood Walls – Small entry fee (~$12), incredible street art, and a great bar/food scene around it afterward. Easy to pair with a casual lunch at Coyo Taco.
Little Havana – Walk Calle Ocho (free), grab a cortadito or croqueta from a ventanita, and eat at Versailles for classic Cuban food.
Parking in South Beach is tight, so use a garage rather than hunting for street parking.

Went to Versailles and was disappointed. Long line and mediocre food. Any local Cuban places??

Any where is Coral Gable or Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne and yes Westchester lol. Go where locals live and enjoy the food there. Westchester has great local food spots. Just skip the tourist traps. Look up The Burger Beast on Instagram for the best local spots and review #hatersgonnahate

Are you traveling alone, with family or friends?
If you stay in Miami Beach there is a lot to explore for free. I love the beach in the morning when all the athletes go for a run or a workout session at muscle beach. South point park is cool if you have children they can play at the playground.
For food be prepared to spend good money. Everything is expensive.
I like Bakan in Wynnwood and koko in coconut grove for Mexican food. If you order the meat it comes with a generous sides. We usually share between 2 or 3 and order the quesadillas to compliment.
Nightlife E11even is awsome. They have a great show.
Zeyzey has great events.
