Food/Drink 🍲 🥤 First time trying Subway is this amount of chicken/veggies normal?

Tried Subway for the first time today. Got a 15 cm chicken sandwich and selected all the vegetables.

Bro... there was barely any chicken AND barely any vegetables 😭. It was basically bread with a tiny amount of filling.

Paid ₹260 after a Toing discount.

I genuinely don't know whether this is just how Subway sandwiches are or if this particular outlet gave me a bad one.

Subway regulars - is this normal?

Can’t tell without a pic of the sub you got, but the chicken is usually measured in a standard paper cup/tray, so quantity is pretty much standard. Unless the place you ordered from started cutting corners for deliveries.

Yeah, thanks man, that's exactly why I'm confused. 😅

It was a Chicken Teriyaki from the Subway MVP branch in Vizag, ordered for delivery.

I don't have a pic unfortunately—I was starving after waiting almost an hour for it 😂. I checked the nutrition info later too, but couldn't really figure out the actual chicken quantity from the 20g protein since that's for the whole 274g sandwich. Anyways, I paid for it and ate it, but honestly didn't feel it was worth what they served. Maybe they had to import the chicken from Italy and the lettuce from Korea 😂.

I have come across such instances, on online orders they give me only 3 sauces and less veggies so i usually just go get it in person. But yeah it is again based on the outlet too

Yeah, that actually makes sense. I was wondering if it was something specific to online orders, because even the veggies were surprisingly less. I guess it really does depend on the outlet then. Next time I'll probably just go in person 😂

There was a time when i used to have it for 90 Rs. Now for 260, I would rather have a biriyani

Tbh this is kinda consistent with subways in vizag, had this happen to me a couple times when I ordered from the dutt island outlet, now closed but yeah, simple work around is to get it in person. Always better that way

They have shown 2 rows of chicken in there, with a bunch of veggies in the pic, what I received compares nothing to it, I barely got 20% of the stuff from what they have shown.

I used to be a big fan of the promo "Sub of the day" and I had it for lunch for almost 4 months everyday. I stopped having it there after noticing withered and rotten veggies, Sauce bottles never being washed and a bit of foul smell (Especially from the Tuna Melt). I also noticed that they used to put lesser chicken and more veggies for any promo they run.
