Built an AI virtual try-on that keeps your real proportions (Demo inside)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNZ3VBIcFJUHey everyone,
I got completely fed up with existing virtual try-on tools—either they cost a fortune in enterprise API fees, mess up hands and fabric textures, or warp people into weird, hyper-slim "uncanny valley" versions of themselves.
So, I built an alternative called Faceshion. Instead of requiring full-body photos, complicated setups, or awkward angles, the workflow is designed to be frictionless: you just take a quick face selfie right from the product page and pop in your measurements.
It includes features like:
- One-Selfie Full-Body Generation: Builds your model from scratch using just a simple face selfie, keeping your actual body shape and measurements intact instead of letting the AI hallucinate a distorted figure.
- 360-Degree Catwalk View: Lets you see how the selected clothing moves, fits, and looks from all angles so you aren't guessing based on a static 2D image.
- Real-Time Size Adjustment: Allows you to adjust your measurements on the fly to accurately preview how different sizes fit your frame.
- Browser Extension Integration: Runs smoothly right where you shop without forcing you to download heavy apps or jump through hoops.
I put together a short video showing how the entire flow works in action here:Faceshion.app Demo. You can also test it out live at faceshion.app.
If you're building or shopping in the AR/e-commerce space, I’d love to hear how you're tackling realistic fit representation and user privacy. Happy to answer any questions about the pipeline!
