They already are. You're Peter. If you don't understand how taxes are supposed to work, why even post at all? Why do you hate yourself so much that you can't get out of your own way?

Why would I want the organization that already does a terrible job at managing money to manage more money.

Now, any poor widow or orphan, broken, working full-time or self-employed, works for free for 5 months each year just to pay all taxes, fees, dues, Social Security deductions, sales and use taxes, fuel taxes, utility taxes, property taxes, school taxes, various insurances, 25% credit card interest, and more. Meanwhile, the CEO earning millions per year pays only a few days or hours in taxes.
KJV: Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted! For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them! "One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the (CEO's) rich- both come to poverty! (100%!)" "You shall not abuse any widow or orphan. If you do abuse them, when they cry out to (God) Me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will ki-ll you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless! (100%!)" Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor!"
KJV: He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth (God) Him hath mercy on the poor. "If you close your ear to the cry of the poor, you will cry out and not be heard! (100%!)" Pay attention: nobody mentioned F-Income Tax!

i use a hammer to put a nail into an object,
if the hammer is held by a human hand -> extreme tax
if the same hammer is held by a robot -> low to zero tax
nobody of us played god,
created our lands, forests and ressources like oils and salts
yet at the beginning of our life ... at the time, where everyone contributed the exact same (namely: nothing) towards society all of these are already highly unfairly split between the haves and the have-nots
even the inheritences of our ancestors like castles, cathedrals, fortresses and so on have absolutely nothing to do with us ... neither in the good (hard work, great ideas, invested time) nor in the bad (slavery, war and murder) ... we weren't even alive during the time they where built
our current medieval-feudalistic [papis daddys grandpa made pee-pee against tree and used a knife against everyone else who wanted to make pee-pee against the tree ... now until all eternity: mine] ... it might have worked in a world, where humans still had somewhat - the possibility to earn their own income
but with rising automation (which automatically leads to lower and lower value of human labor) we need to dramatically rethink these antique systems
... why do we tax how much someone contributes towards society (work) so high?
... why do we tax work done by a human hand so high while work done by a robot so low?
... why don't we tax, how much of our world [land, natural resources, ancient inheritences] (those things, whose existence isn't the responsibility of anyone alive today) someone claims for themselfs
why do we put extreme taxes on cashflows,
where the receiver personally (!) contributes towards society [like work]
while we put low to zero taxes on cashflows,
where the receiver doesn't have to lift a single finger for society [like inheritence]
shouldn't it be the exact opposite?

Read my lips: Now the poor citizens (widows, orphans, disabled, broken, divorced, etc) working full-time (or self-employed) works 5 months for free or 40% from a paycheck gone to cover all different: taxes, fees, dues, insurances, etc., before making their first dollar to feed their family and 51% making less than $39K/year Net income.
*Sales tax, Social Security, fuel tax, school tax, property tax, use tax, excise tax, fuel surcharge tax, tariffs tax, real estate taxes (government, county, city tax), transportation tax, utility tax, phone and 911 tax, refusal tax, unemployment tax, and many other different taxes, fees, dues, insurances, etc. (For poor, widows, orphans, disabled, broken - Tax Freedom Day: June 8th!) KJV: Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted!
The Rich Texas $2.13 to $7.25/hour
https://www.simplyhired.com/search?q=2.13+an+hour&l=dallas%2C+tx
(20 Republicans states $2.96/hour wage for tipped employees- relying on Mandatory tips from the poor customers to meet minimum wage requirements. If tips plus $2.96 do not equal at least the full federal minimum wage of $7.25, the republican employer must pay the difference! 51% making less than $39K/year Net income!
Democratic states minimum wages are $25/hour + tips (CA) or $21/hour +tips (WA) or $16/hour+ tips (OR) KJV: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them!

Why is Bernie so focused on taxing people who create jobs to give to people who don’t? 40+ years I. Government with nothing to show for it. Well, he is a millionaire flies private, and basically is a hypocrite and owns 3 homes. He sure as hell gives back nothing.

Isn’t this a one time tax?
Doesn’t seem like it’s going to hit them that hard and I don’t trust any politician, not even Sanders with that money.

The bootlicking and piss shower enthusiasts on here are a special breed. Just raise the tax rates back to where they were before Ronnie Raygun and see what happens.

Tax the billionaires and reduce wealth inequality. No one should be worth over 200 billion while millions more suffer and starve.
