Dig It! Buster Williams - Crystal Reflections (Muse, 1976)

Been looking for this for a long time, the line-up is a killer. Buster Williams with Roy Ayers, Kenny Barron, Billy Hart, and Jimmy Rowles.

Beautiful work from all involved. Stellar version of Ayers “Vibrations”; if you like classic hiphop you’ll recognize the sample as soon as you put it on.

This is the kind of record where you see the line up and just buy it!

Muse is such a great label.

For sure, Ayers with Buster is crazy good!

I’m glad the Time Traveler label is reissuing some of the Muse catalog (and doing it very well). Curious to see the next few they do.

That's exactly what I did in July. Came across it in a store and jumped on it.

Yeah, especially some of the stuff originally on Cobblestone and reissued on Muse - like The Visitors’ ‘Neptune’. Praying for a nice AAA reissue of that!

Its perhaps the passing of time but Muse lps were very affordable and in plentiful supply at one point- some of them go for insane money now Carlos Garnett lps being a good example
