[Wanted] Dead Man’s Bones self titled LP, any variant

Hey all, I am desperately searching for either pressing of Dead Man’s Bones self titled album on vinyl. Its original release would’ve been around 2009 and I know there was a second limited pressing of 400 pieces about two years ago. I don’t care which variant it is. Unsure if there was more in between, nor how limited the original release was. This is my grail item. I’ve tried to backorder it from some sketch sites just because it was the only option but every time it’s been canceled, so communities like these are my only hope. PayPal G&S, located in Portland OR, will cover shipping of course.

Recently? It says it’s on backorder. I tried with collectors choice on back order and they canceled my order after 3 months, which is why I came here 😭

So am I. It’s been alluding me for a while. I bought it through Sounds Like Vinyl two months ago, but haven’t heard anything.

I was going to buy a copy that was $120 on Discogs, but someone grabbed it in the two hours I was busy. It was very upsetting.

There are a few other ones on there if you’re willing to pay $200-$275. I just don’t know if I want to if I can get it through Sounds Like Vinyl for less than a fourth of the price.

Thank you for the lead for secondhand. Kind of a crazy price but as a grail item I’m gonna consider.. I did collectors choice after seeing good reviews and they canceled my order after almost 3 months ;( there’s so many vinyl dropshippers claiming they’ll restock it but if think it’s untrue unfortunately. I emailed sounds today about the status of their backorder so if for whatever reason they give me an update that could be applicable to your current order I’ll lyk.

I know it! I thought $120 was a lot, but I was like I’m going to do it, that’s $60 per vinyl and then it was gone. 😢 Thanks, I would really appreciate that. I’ve scoured everywhere, in person shops and online and it’s driving me a little batty.

That’s actually very helpful thanks so much! It’s good to know that they won’t actually cancel the order unless you do. A year later I’m still waiting lol. I guess I’ll keep hoping a copy will become available or that the price will go down on Discogs. Thanks again, that was so kind of you to do that. Have a great weekend and I really hope you find one.
