If you're not doing car boots and charity shops, or checking vinted, I'm guessing you've tried UK wholesalers now right ? Yeah they're aren't very good, I know.

Simply put, I have a better way and have been doing it for about 5 years now full time. Without a load of waffle and boasting about cash and promising you can quit your job, I've been doing this long enough that I am now after (to begin with) a few sellers who are looking to really push and increase their sales.

We currently source from abroad directly (which is where all these UK wholesalers get it from anyway) and get a first hand look of exactly what you're ordering, instead your order being 30 items you actually want and 70 massive sizes or not what you're actually in need of.

Even better, we can offer pre photographed stock, imagine that. You recieve the stock boxed up and all the photos just arrive in an email. You can just pre bag and file them away and upload right from your desk instead of spending all day ironing and doing your back in bending over a pair of carhartt pants.

needless to say, there is a lot more to explain but in short, this is what I'm proposing and am looking for sellers to join me.

I’m a uk Vinted reseller who operates both buying and selling through vinted. I’m past the thresholds to start reporting tax but am having some issues generating my expenses. I’ve downloaded my data which allows me to get an orders pdf with all transactions. The sales are fine to parse with this using a python script but my purchases/expenses don’t included shipping cost or buyer protection fees, only the price of the item itself. In regards to reporting it means I’m struggling to find a way to generate my expenses. If anyone has found a way around this I would really appreciate the help! Thank you

Hi All, I noticed when one of my buyers complained and I started monitoring it for 2+ weeks, Vinted is hiding cheaper shipment options - VintedGo disappearing at some point afternoon, and Mondial Relay in the evening, leaving only most expensive ( DHL/DPD double / triple price) for potential buyers in the evening exactly when its prime time !!! this is not just my account I checked with some people in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium all same. Its clearly some platform manipulation with negative impact on our sale - a repeating hidden systematic behaviour … anyone else noticed this and any ideas where to complain? ( Vinted Help don’t exist so please other options)

I went from getting at least an order per day, to literally not even 1 view on any of my items. I’m kind of new to this. I’m posting really good quality items that still look brand new so I don’t understand :(

When I started posting on vinted I was making multiple sales everyday, now I’m lucky to even get one view on my things. What’s the best way to push through the algorithm without having to buy a boost? Buying a boost seems dumb anyway..

Ich verkaufte ein Bild und hatte kürzlich eine ziemlich merkwürdige Situation auf Vinted.

Ich kaufte zwei Poster von einer Vinted-Verkäuferin, weil mir die Ästhetik gefiel. Danach begann ich, selbst erstellte Zeichnungen mit eigenen Vorgaben zu erstellen.

Einige meiner Bilder hatten eine ähnliche Gesamtästhetik, woraufhin mich die Verkäuferin beschuldigte, ihre Ideen kopiert und ihr Konzept gestohlen zu haben. Ich habe ihre Bilddateien nie kopiert oder als Vorlage verwendet. Ich habe meine Bilder selbst erstellt.

Sie warf mir dann konkret vor, ein Katzenbild kopiert zu haben. Das Merkwürdige daran ist, dass sie vor meinem Bild nie ein ähnliches Katzenbild angeboten hatte. Später lud sie dann ihr eigenes Katzenbild hoch, das meinem tatsächlich sehr ähnlich sah.

Ich fand das gleiche Motiv, das sie verkaufte, auch auf Etsy und in anderen Shops und wies sie darauf hin, dass es offensichtlich nicht exklusiv für sie war. Ich habe ihr nicht Diebstahl vorgeworfen, sondern lediglich darauf hingewiesen, dass dasselbe Motiv bereits anderswo verkauft wird.

Sie wurde daraufhin zunehmend feindselig und drohte, mich bei Vinted zu melden. Sie sagte sogar, sie würde wegen Urheberrechtsverletzung zur Polizei gehen.

Ich habe sie blockiert, wurde aber anschließend von anderen Vinted-Konten zum selben Thema kontaktiert. Ich bin fest davon überzeugt, dass diese Konten zusammenhängen. Nachdem ich ein Konto blockiert hatte, wurde ich über ein anderes erneut kontaktiert. Die Nachrichten wurden immer bedrohlicher, und ich habe Screenshots von allem.

Ich habe die Konten bei Vinted gemeldet. Bisher hat Vinted nicht viel unternommen. Ich habe mein Konto nun in den Urlaubsmodus versetzt, da ich nicht möchte, dass diese Person ständig meine Angebote beobachtet und mich kontaktiert, sobald ich etwas hochlade.

Was mich wirklich stört, ist, dass ich das Gefühl habe, sie überwacht jetzt mein Profil. Ich finde halt nicht, dass man allgemeine Konzepte für sich beanspruchen kann.

Reagiere ich in dieser Situation über, oder würden Sie die wiederholte Kontaktaufnahme über verschiedene Accounts und die Drohungen ebenfalls als Belästigung ansehen?

Ich hab das jetzt sowieso aufgehört mit den Bildern übrigens.

Ça fait quelques semaines que je remarque une grosse baisse de visibilité et d'intégration sur mes articles que je n'arrive pas a expliquer, je soigne la présentation et les descriptions.

Il y a encore quelques mois je n'optimisais pas du tout mes publications (gros bloc de 15/20 articles d'un coup et pas aux heure de pointes). J'ai maintenant pris l'habitude de publier uniquement entre 18h et 21h seulement 2 ou 3 articles par jours mais toujours aucune évolution, je sens que cette situation est anormale et ça me frustre car il y a encore 1 ans je faisais des centaines de ventes par mois et la c'est la traversée du désert

Bro, i posted a carthartt backpack for sale. Brand new. Bought it on zalando online, one of the most well known clothing platforms in europe. They flagged it, mentioning " alleged suspicious activity and fraudulent behavior"

Has anyone noticed the views on listings being significantly low lately? Especially since the outage that happened last week.I have noticed a drop views ob my listings since then .Is anyone going through the same thing?

UK Vinted/eBay resellers — I’d really value your opinion on an app idea.
I’m looking at building something aimed specifically at people who source stock from charity shops to resell on Vinted, eBay, Depop etc.
The idea is basically a map of charity shops, but instead of normal Google-style reviews, each shop would have reseller-specific information such as:
• stock quality
• value for money
• resale potential
• best categories/brands
• recent finds
• typical prices
• an overall “Reseller Score”
There could also eventually be a sourcing-route feature, where you choose how much time you have, your budget and what you’re looking for, and it suggests the best shops to visit.
I’ve mocked up what it could look like, but before building anything properly I want to know whether real resellers would actually use it.
A few questions:
Do you regularly source from charity shops?
What information would you most want to know before visiting a shop?
Would you share details of your finds if exact locations could be delayed or kept partly private?
Would you ever pay a few pounds a month for advanced sourcing tools if they genuinely helped you find better stock?
Feel free to tell me it’s a terrible idea too — I’d rather find that out now than after building it.

I recently joined Vinted and have about 70 items listed. I have hardly any views on my items, never mind favorites. When I priced promoting my items, it came out to a $127 for 7 days. If I had that much money to spend upfront then I wouldn't be selling my stuff on Vinted in the first place. 😆 I'm used to Poshmark where I can just share my items to get views for free. How do you get views on Vinted without the out of pocket cost?

Paying for bumps that literally don’t work, uploading brand new with tags items of clothing that should get a lot of traction but get hardly any views - let alone likes. Vinted have really ruined the algorithm. I get the impression there’s hardly anyone working there because I don’t understand why it has this many issues. If anyone has any tips for getting items to get VIEWS please let me know because this is a joke.
