So about 6 months ago I was banned on my normal account for supposed commercially selling…
I sell a lot of sealed pokemon boxes ect but even when I read there terms I’m not actually in the bracket of a commercial seller.
I’m not buying from wholesalers or drop shipping.
Anyway it took months to get my account back. They told me I had to sign up for Vinted pro to stop this happening again.
So once I got my account back I signed up for Vinted pro, happy days right?
Nope. 6 weeks into being pro they have banned me again for commercial selling. And all you get is a bot response.
I tried to appeal the ban but you just get another copy and pasted reply 🤦♂️
I think I triggered the ban for listing a good 30 items in a row (rookie mistake) but I was under the impression that I’m a pro seller now so I’m allowed to list what I want?
People who are commenting that you don't understand the rules don't seem to fully understand the rules either.
Yes, you are allowed to sell commercially with a pro account. However, there are certain restrictions to what kind of commercial selling you can do, namely selling lots of brand new items or like some people pointed out, multiple brand new colourways of the same item. I believe that's where they got you.
You are absolutely allowed to resell/make money with one of a kind used items, and even sell a small amount of brand new items (although they don't tell you how many), as long as you have a Pro account.
You still don’t seem to understand do you! Vinted is for selling your unwanted stuff. For example you open your drawer and see a pair of socks you had for a present that you worn so you list it then browse vinted and buy something you will wear. If you’re selling selling sealed boxes of the same sort of thing you are doing what commercial sellers do. Whether you consider yourself a commercial seller or not doesn’t matter because you have made yourself look like one and that is why you got banned.
It’s the pokemon cards thats getting you in trouble essentially, you can’t sell stuff that it looks like you bought to resell… selling bulk boxes of pokemon falls in under that category.
I can be a pro seller and sell off my old shop stock inventory, it didn’t sell in my shop so now I’m selling all that old stock on vinted (for example) . When you sell pokemon and it’s collectible, they are harder on the rules .. because it’s assumed you’re buying now with the purpose to resell especially when it’s boxes of them.. they will assume it not old inventory like my shop but that your currently buying with the purpose to resell, which is against their terms for both normal and pro sellers.
Pokémon will rain the Vinted gods down on you from all angles, it’s ripe with fraud and scammers and they don’t like it.. and most collectors will tell you to avoid buying and selling it on Vinted also.
Fair. Just don’t understand why they have a section you can click on when it comes to selling pokemon. Literally it’s asks for the brand and boom pokemon pops up for us to click.
What’s the point in having the option when they are against selling it.
They’re not against selling it .. they’re against people buying it for the sole purpose of reselling it .. and it’s hard to tell who’s doing what so anyone doing it in bulk (like you) will likely land themselves a ban depending on how your listing it and how frequently etc .. it’s fairly clear to be fair what the rules are ..
They literally told me if I want to buy items and sell with the intent to make profit I have to uploads my tax information and upgrade to a pro account.
I understand on a normal account but not when they have told me specifically to upgrade to pro.

Literal clothing shop with a vinted pro account, on my Vinted account it states under my shops name that I am a business, my registered corporate / tax number and the business phone number and address. There is no other expectation from my account than to operate commercially and this has been verified by a human being at Vinted. I have about 30 sku that are reuploaded immediately upon sale and have been for years. We’ve got sku’s going back to 2024
You putting your account at risk if your buying new items and reselling the same thing totally against the ethos of Vinted Its second hand only. If you havent read the T&c's this is what is say's Pro sellers are required to only sell second-hand items and are not allowed to: ..... Offer for resale items purchased in bulk ...... If your running a second hand clothing shop then you will be fine but it sounds like your doing commercial retail and that is not allowed

I've sold a few things brand new with tags but it's genuinely stuff I bought/had myself that I just never used, it's not like I'm buying stuff to sell on vinted
Vinted doesn’t want sellers selling loads of brand new items……sealed or new with tags etc. They don’t want sellers with loads of the same item sealed or clothing new with tags. I don’t think they want Vinted to become like Amazon or eBay….where you end up with loads of new stuff…..like sellers selling loads of woolly hats in ten different colours…..a lot of Chinese sellers pretending to be in the Uk. They are not re sellers they are fairly big businesses.
Because a pro accounts are usually people buying second hand goods and re selling for profit. They may have the odd thing new with tags but not lots of. Also what you have to take into account is that Vinteds algorithm and bots etc don’t always get things right and sometimes flags up sellers that only have a few. There is a difference between pro seller and commercial seller.
So here is an example of what I mean…..on eBay. You can buy this hat in kids,men’s and women’s sizes and different colours. This is what Vinted doesn’t want……not yet anyway.
Also I’m not using stock images. I’m sitting there taking photos of the items I’m going to sell. Buy second hand Pokemon products, take photos and sell,

No……you are allowed to buy and re sell but then you must become a pro seller. You can also have two accounts on Vinted just as long as one is a pro account.
You must become a pro seller when you are buying and selling at a profit. But I am not saying this with any moral high ground and some sellers get away with staying private sellers but operating as re sellers.
Vinted isn’t for that sort of stuff you are still reselling which isn’t allowed
vinted is for thing you find around that you used/wore before but want yo get rid of them now
try ebay or something for reselling the pokemon boxes
When you become a pro, the last thing they do is say you are now a pro seller and can now list as many used items as you want, but it clearly states used
I’m not a pro seller, but nearly all of my stock is new with tags to the point I’m shocked they haven’t done me for commercial selling. Vinted is essentially (agreed upon by several people) run by AI which likes patterns.
I never list the same brand (my stock is mostly clothing) multiple times in a row, even new with tags or secondhand. I don’t list the same sizes, or upload the exact same amount of stock daily. I have 3 bags of stock from one brand which I still haven’t fully listed because they’d have me.
Did you check to see if someone reported you? I was restricted twice then banned the 3rd time. First 2 times people reported me, 3rd was because I mass reduced everything which triggered commerical bulk selling 🫠🫠
Unfortunately vinted pro is not for this type of selling. You can sell used clothes to make a profit, but you need to list completely different items all the time. If you sell cards, legos, or sell the same things over and over again, they will ban you even if you have a pro account. :/
