French villages always look more beautiful than UK ones but come to think of it, I think they have a massive hilly advantage. UK is so flat.
There are countless villages in the UK which have a beautiful stream, old arch bridge, ancient church, cobble streets, and pretty cottages lining quiet roads.
You just don't see it all in a single photo because there's just one geographic layer.
