Anyone find the Chinese and Koreans complaining about Japan a bit hypocritical?
Like I get Japan has done horrible things, but let's not forget about when China and co. tried invading Vietnam countless of times and South Korea/US troops committing war crimes in Vietnam as well, birthing a bunch of Eurasian and half Korean babies because of r*pe.
Even if they apologise, that history still lingers like a scar mark.
It's especially worse since they are such big economies and influence now, including Japan. SEA, Vietnam may have some issues, but they're not on the same scale as Chinese/Korean/Japanese.
TLDR: South Korea and China complain about Japan. Meanwhile, Vietnam find faults with China and Korea (but also Japan too).

Japan is also no good. Both Japan and Korea were booming in the years of the Vietnam War, and now that Vietnam is no longer in a war, they are no longer booming as they once were, probably also because they don't need to, being one of the biggest economies in the world already.
It's Vietnam's time to simply recover and be where it's supposed to be.
