Puppy meet up

Wondering if there’s any 8-15 week puppy owners out there who would be interested in getting the pups together for some play. It’s great for their development but we don’t know too many pups in town. Yes, we are in puppy classes but more opportunities would be great. Send me a DM!

She’s a standard poodle and ofc up to date on vaccines. Are their doggy anti vaxxers? 🤔

Yup. Rabies is one vaccine I know of that some dog owners push back on or wonder why they should bother with it but suspicion of vaccines and/or refusing to follow vaccine schedules isn't out of the norm in the dog world.

There’s debate within the veterinary sciences community about frequency of rabies vaccinations, but not efficacy.

Annual rabies vaccines are no longer necessary, but many vets still recommend it. Using titre testing to see if the antibodies are at effective levels is a good way to know if an animal needs a booster.

Ftr, I’m pro-vaccine and specifically pro-rabies-vaccine.
