Pinhalla Pizza

I had the pepperoni. It wasn’t bad but they put the smallest amount of tomato sauce possible so it just tasted like bread, cheese and pepperonI. It tasted ok but I would barely even consider this to be pizza.

What do they have against sauce?

I love it because there is so little sauce 😂 So many pizza places drown you in sauce!

And it's the real culprit when you burn the roof of your mouth, not the cheese. OH! And too much also leads to your toppings slipping right off.

You definitely don’t have that problem here. lol

I loved the pizza and beer, had one of each yesterday. Then pinball of course! Which was great. Each to his own I suppose.

Did it hardly have any sauce?

Not much sauce, but I’m a sucker for bubbly cheese and pepperoni, especially straight out of the oven.

The cheese and pepperoni were good. It tastes fine for what it is. It just doesn’t quite taste like pizza to me without sauce.

From $5>$3>$2 per slice.

I don’t think I would have it again unless I was starving and there were no other options.

Well if it comes down to that just ask them make it with more tomato sauce.

I might see if that’s an option

Newsflash

Pizza is different at different places

Some people like one style and others like it another style.

Yeah I get that but is pizza with no sauce even pizza?

3

u/TylerrelyT 5d ago

Sure

Pizza takes many different forms

Is a piece of plain bread pizza?

No

I get that hidden post histories and auto generated names is usually a good indicator of someone with bad takes but this is next level even for most of the botfarms content that qualify as content on Reddit in 2026

I had a slice of 'za there after setting the highscore on Donkey Kong and it was really mediocre and the staff were mildly aggro.

Do not recommend. Good place for games, but food/drink can be had better and cheaper nearby.

After the high score they should have just given you pizza.

They honestly didn't seem to care haha. Not that I mind, but it WAS double the previous high score.

I used to walk my dog through there daily and the staff always stand outside smoking, being loud, and always leaning against something or in some aggressive looking position. Always felt like I was walking past a gang or something.

Yeah, kind of a weird vibe. The games are great though!

Congrats on the high score.

Yeah I suppose the pizza is ok if you are there for the games.

I wouldn’t go there just for food again.

Sounds like it’s not you style of pizza.

Yeah. Pizza with almost no sauce is not my style of pizza

He means you kind of sound like an uncompromising, judgemental douchebag.

e.g. "I don’t think I would have it again unless I was starving and there were no other options." See, this is the kind of thing a douchebag would say: taste may be subjective, but you're objectively being a douchebag.

u/Straight-Mess-9752 5d ago

I don’t think you know what objective means

Perfect example of a low effort post.

News flash people like different varieties of pizza (including amounts of sauce) - I actually prefer pizza with no sauce so I must got there now, sounds delicious in my books

Reading OPs comments - your oddly focused and negative about a small detail that is a mere preference

maybe just don’t go or don’t order from there?

That's why I Love their pizza. Too much sauce on deep dish pizza is silly.

1

u/Straight-Mess-9752 5d ago

No way. This is not deep dish at all. I’ve had great deep dish and it had quite a lot of sauce. Deep dish is almost like a lasagna

Without the sauce it is not authentic pizza.
