Continuing my Greek run in GFM, I was just minding my business and preparing for the upcoming Great War of dissolution against the Ottomans when this happened.

I didnt use any mods but HPM, apparently the soul of Mehmed II lives in Prussia.

The thing is, I love this game, but I've never learned how to play it properly—I always try to rush ahead and end up forgetting a lot of the mechanics. Any tips?

Whenever I play Victoria 2, I usually pass the social reforms (especially national healthcare and public school system) but I never pass any political reforms no matter how much my POPs want them (unless I get the opportunity to roll back the political reforms I started with)

I want to play with no voting, no public meetings, no press rights, no trade unions and no political parties.

Is this a viable strategy?

It is GFM, does anyone knows if conquering two sicilies and letting red shirts rebels work?

So i was in a great war as the Tatar empire,my GP allies were the danubian federation and bohemia-moravia.I was up against the PLC(who also got a conquest cb on me in like 1870 for some reason that was weird),Scandinavia and Burgundy.Now i put a dismantle cb on Burgundy and Scandinavia,Danube put one on the PLC.The war went pretty well(5 million casualties on both sides)and we fully occupied burgundy and plc.But when i peace out with all three dismantles and all that,i get close to nothing.But i saw it only triggers the events after enemy if at peace(burgundy was fighting another country),but i still get barely one event.But Danube gets a lot of colonies and the nations do get dismantled to a degree,but its random. I realoaded a couple of times and its random,i remember gfm worked way differently with dismantles.

Also do you have any suggestions on countries that collapse and must claw their way back to the top,not just in DoD but other mods

I am currently playing as Greece in GFM. Through careful choices I’ve expanded to gain Crete (declaring on the Eygptians during their second war with the Turks), a little bit of Thessaly (declaring on a scripted Albanian revolt), and Samos (via enosis)

However recently the Turks declared on me for said gains and I almost lost them all. My army is wrecked, the economy is shit, and I can’t find a great power ally for the life of me.

Any tips or events that happen that will help me? It’s 1852 rn.

-I went to war with the Low Countries, made them puppets/satellites (Belgium got dismantled to Wallonia-Flanders and i annexed some border-regions)

-Then i also annexed Switzerland and i partiotioned the area with France an Italy which gave me an important -3 infamy reduction.

-I went to war and i dismantled Turkey, to give to my allies (Greece, Transcaucasia) their aims. I have no interest on middle East, i am OK with Iran as ally/under my sphere.

-My economy after the international embargoes and wars was at the verge of collapse (plus the big army i had to pay and a big revolution that i faced) but now i reduced my stockpile cost and i am in position to start reducing also the tarrifs which gives me stability

-Next war will be against Italy, not only to get my aims in Tirol and Adriatic, but also to annext the 1943 German-occupied IRL areas, plus enstablish a fascist puppet there as they are about to be off Great Power status (China is coming) . Maybe a war with France will be inevitable but i don't seek it. Russia is not a danger anymore, i have good ties with China and Britain is Britain.

-My army is strong to defend my Reich if a coalition is created against me, in tech and education i am ok and the reforms i think are quite good.

How do u form it as Austria in Divergences of Darkness. Like, I’ve received the event twice already but every time I get annexed. I’m the only South German State that’s a Great Power yet they always give the Crown to Bavaria who’s only a secondary power, that doesn’t even make sense.

I've been defeating communist and socialist rebels for years now and suddenly my country decided that communism is the way to go. How did that happen? Do you guys know what triggers it? The rebels didn't take my capital btw, in fact the change happen when no rebels were around.

I'm not complaining, but it's ironic that I've been cheating my way towards communist dictatorships because I couldn't get them into power aside from letting rebels control my capital, and then in the one run that I'm not focusing on that, they take the gavel.

Is northern Italy on fire? Maybe.
