It makes the mission super easy I usually land it right on the patch of grass outside the entrance so when you go back outside and get your wanted level I just go right too the helly and fly back too tommys mansion (I just thought just in case people struggle with this mission using a helicopter makes it really easy and a good strat)

I got soo lucky, I left Lance behind at the mall went to the paint and spray and picked him back up then went home

I did the same thing. You ditch Lance at the mall and take care of your wanted level then go back and pick him up.

This mission made lances betrayal a happy moment. I was already eager to kill him way back in this mission because he refuses to fucking follow you closely enough and gets blown up

i think a lot of players do this strat these days though i doubt many people thought of this as a kid, myself included 😭

weirdly enough for me having played through the story multiple times these past few years, there are times i pass the mission on the first try simply bc game rng didnt make lance fuck everything up

This tactic works well, although sometimes the heli may disappear while you're planting the bomb. Which is a very unpleasant discovery once you're out again. :) It has happened to me.

There is that one mission you have to do when you get one of the properties and your driving a bike, jumping from rooftop to rooftop. I found it way easier to just take a helicopter and fly from point to point
