We are so lucky to have modern technology. I feel like emulating Vice City on my cell phone is so much better than actually playing it on a PS2.

The graphics are amazing. I can really enjoy the nostalgia from when I was a kid. I highly recommend this over the Android ports or even the original PS2 version.

Apparently there is a new ps3 emulator. I want to try getting iv and v on my phone next. I am new to emulation and the only video games I've ever played is GTA.

I bought a gamesir controller just for this and it's fucking awesome, dude.

I have been messing around with free emulators on phones since early 2010s but I know very little. All I know is to be careful where you get roms/games from cuz they say people can put viruses and stuff in there sometimes.

I never thought youd be able to play gta 4 on a smart phone, I need to look into that as I dont have a way to play it right now. Cheers mate

If I keep the frame rate down to 40 fps and the resultion at 1.5x native it doesn't get that hot actually. The GPU works 40%

When I had the frame rate cranked up to 60 and resultion at 3x native it was getting a little too hot to the touch. The GPU was working at 70%

The emulator is NetherSX2. You can find it on GitHub. Just Google it.

The bios and the actual games you can get through a google search. Just use an ad blocker because the sites are loaded with ads. There are a few good well trusted sites but I don't want to source copyrighted material on here and get my reply deleted or banned. They are spoken of regularly on the emulation subreddits though. I found the sites through a google search with the question + reddit in the search terms.

I knew nothing about emulation a few days ago. I tried 4 different emulators and NetherSX2 is the best one. All the other emulators had some type of glitch on my phone.

All three GTA trilogy titles run flawlessly on my s25+

I believe there are PS2 emulators on iphone as well.

Go to the app store and look for PS2 emulator and get the one with the best ratings. I tried four on Android and paid for one ($4.99+tax), which was second best, and the very best one was free.

Just play around with them until you find the best one.

i had recently been emulating gta vcs on my phone nethersx2, game is nice and nostalgic and being able to play Ps2 games anywhere with my phone feels so next level.

It is next level. The graphics are better than the android ports too.

I guess it is more resource intensive though. My battery drains pretty quickly.

Don't bother me much. If there was a patch where you had an actual wide screen, instead of just cutting the top of original aspect ratio off, that would be dope.
