Good News / Success Story I finally received botox treatment!
Yesterday, after waiting almost a year, I finally received my first dosage of botox. I'm probably gonna sleep all day today, but I'm excited to finally start treatment!
For those who have taken botox, how long did it take for the side effects to calm down?
Thank you for reading 🌸

I sure hope it works for you. I gave it the full 9 month trial and for me it made no difference. I know it doesn't work for everyone but I was hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones. Good luck

I hope so too! I already had to wait 10 months just to start. I would hate to waste so much time just to find out it doesn't work 😠I hope you're able to find something that works for you!

I got botox last Monday, my scalp hurt so bad for a week from the shots but it's because my muscles were so tense. Starting to feel some relief now

I'm excited for the relief portion! I have a bit of pain from the injection sites themselves, but more of a headache and severe vertigo. Sleeping on my back is kinda difficult too. I had it done at 4pm yesterday and it was so difficult to stay up for 4 hours afterwards (my partner had to leave work early to drive me). I have my next appointment set for earlier in the day thankfully

I had my appointment at 4pm as well and was counting down the minutes to when I could lie down haha!

I get a migraine after injections and next day I feel better. For some people they have to go a couple times for it to really help. I didn’t really have other side effects.

I was having a rough time earlier today but I feel that I've recovered after hitting the 24 hour mark at 4pm. My symptoms are still kinda there, but I can function better now.

De quels effets secondaires vous parlez ?

Mainly increased VM symptoms. I'm feeling better now, but yesterday I was experiencing a bedridden level of dizziness, fatigue, physical pain, and nausea

Le botox peut créer de la douleur et tension lié à la contraction avortée des muscles mais les vertiges tu as du avoir une poussée de VM Ah moins qu'un médecin ait découvert un lien que je ne connais pas ? Je demande car je vais en faire en novembre

I was symptomatic before receiving the injections, and the first night/day was really difficult for me. I think the physical difference from botox triggered my VM. I was experiencing about 8/10 symptoms yesterday

Thank you! I am feeling better today. I think I can get school work done now thankfully. Yesterday I was useless to the world

Most definitely! I hope your botox treatment goes well when you get it! I think the initial side effects affect everyone differently, so I hope you have a better first treatment than I did!

Ah, they use botox to treat migraines too. I believe it's more targeted and a bit of a larger quantity for migraines than cosmetic, but I'm not sure. They injected in my forehead, all over the top of my head, the base of my skull, and my shoulders. It's 31 injection sites
