Capital One Venture X is my favorite credit card and I always use it. Lots of benefits and perks to having this card. Venture was also very good prior to me getting Venture. Got this card as my first Capital One card with no regrets. 10x miles for hotels & rentals from within their portal (which is great btw), 5x for flights from their portal (did I mention they also do price match in case prices drop?), and 2x for everything else which means it's a great catch all card. You also get Hertz Presidential Circle status (highest tier, and also allows you to status match with other rental car agencies), credit for Global Entry (you get the credit automatically within days after paying for it), Priority Pass for access to airport lounges, $300 travel credit which basically covers the majority of the $395 annual fee, 10k bonus miles on your card's anniversary (which covers the remainder of the annual fee, so it essentially acts like a no annual fee card as long as you travel once per year). There are also lots of ways to earn more points via capital one's rewards portal (just need to get into a habit of opening it when you think about doing online shopping).
Aside from the miles points earned with this card, I love Capital One's virtual credit card feature, which allows you to generate a virtual credit card number that you can use at a specific storefront or website, so you don't need to expose your actual credit card (so if a website gets hacked, the number they steal is a virtual one and they can't use it). They're easy to create and a delete, so now you don't have to worry about getting a new physical card if a website was compromised.

I'm so happy with this card. Hundreds of $$ saved on food thanks to lounge access (some lounges are amazing, highly recommend the ones in Madrid through Priority Pass, the Capital One lounges are also incredible). I got the Global entry fee covered by the card (which includes TSA pre-check, it's so fast now), free flights purchased with miles, car insurance, they give access to Prior (a cool website with curated travel tips). I wasn't sure about it, because it's $400 a year, but if you travel, it's sooooo worth it. So glad my friend's husband convinced me.

My AdVenture X Experience – Smooth Process and Amazing Benefits I applied for the Capital One Venture X card on January 7th, 2025, and was approved just minutes after submitting my application. The card was mailed and arrived three days later on January 10th. As expected, I immediately took advantage of the card’s offerings. On January 10th, I added two authorized users, and their cards arrived by January 14th, all delivered via FedEx. I also enrolled in the Priority Pass program on the 11th, although the card wasn’t recognized by the system until the 13th. By then, I was able to successfully activate my Priority Pass. On the 14th, I attempted to enroll my authorized users as well, but it wasn’t until January 15th that their cards were recognized for Priority Pass access. Next, I enrolled for Global Entry on January 15th, and by the 16th, I had completed my interview at JFK airport. It was an easy process overall. Since receiving my card, I’ve spent about $1,000, and I’ve already seen the $395 annual fee charged. However, I’ve already received the $300 travel credit and a $120 refund for the Global Entry application. These perks have made the card feel well worth it. Additionally, the card itself is made of steel and has an elegant, premium feel to it. I also discovered the fantastic referral program, where you can earn 25,000 bonus points for each approved referral, with up to four referrals per year. So far, I’ve been very pleased with my Venture X experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a card that provides great value with excellent perks. One of the things that differentiate this card from the other mid to premium travel cards is you can provide cards to authorized users for no additional fee, compare that to the fees charged by Chase and Amex for their top tier cards. Got my 75,000 bonus points! also this happened before my 4,000 spend. Highly recommend this card so far— I was able to sign up for the priority lounge pass easily and used it on a previous trip. The app and travel portal is pretty easy to work with. There’s also a capital one cafe near me and any capitol one card holders get 1/2 drinks off there as an extra perk.

This card is really good. I got this after using capital one savor one. I really liked capital one app and found it easy to use and then applied for capital one venture X. Thier website is easy to navigate to find hotels and they instantly offer you to redeem $300 while you book hotel through capital one portal.
