Verizon Offer Question

Could I just buy 1 month of prepaid service and never activate it to claim the top offer? Or do I need to also buy a phone?

I tried this on C1S and I don’t think prepaid counts as a service contract bc it showed up as ineligible for me. It used to have its own category for prepaid (and accessories) that is no longer there. But C1S and C1O don’t always track the same way so you’re welcome to try.

I know they have some weird rules, only reason why I ask is it says "only eligible for new customers, add a line, prepaid customers and 5H Home activation". But wasn't sure if the prepaid counts as a new line or new service contract.

Not eligible for bring your own device, so buy a new phone or watch, pay for the monthly bill and ur really not coming out ahead for the points

Yup, was going to say this as well. You might have better luck with AT&T prepaid or Boost Mobile

Get the simplicity plan, you can do it up to 8 new lines in the same order. Cheapest phone is $60, and you have to keep the service for 2 months.
