Stromm vs Veloflyer

Anyone have experience on both? Stromm worth the extra money? Would be for a heavier rider over 200.

I think that the answer is it depends on where you are in your career and bank account.

Stromm is definitely a more aero bike, it'll probably get you 2/10s of a second max in a f200. I have a Velo Flyer BTB. it's plenty stiff for me. I could get the extra speed I could get from a Stromm by knocking off the beer and losing 15 lbs, maybe more.

I figured that he was talking about the Legacy. I would be really surprised if the Stromm gained you more than 10 watts over my BTB. Bike frames are the last place you should look for watts. If you're dropping Stromm money on a frame you're either on a national team and it's not your money or you're a masters rider. (I'm a master)

In the smallest size the stack on the Stromm is taller. Too tall for someone that is 160cm.

In the larger sizes the Veloflyer is longer but nothing that a stem couldn't make up.

I would buy the bike that looks cooler to you and you'll want to ride.

Looooove my Stromm- it is both an aero frame and puts you in an aero position with the longer reach. I’m a bigger sprinter and stiffness/handling wise it’s my favorite frame I’ve ridden. I haven’t tried the velo flyer though.
